The pre-examination counselling for students and parents will begin from the 2nd February and will continue till 20th April, 2015. This is the 18th consecutive year that CBSE will provide psychological counseling services to students before and during the examinations to overcome exam related stress. Counselling will be provided via multiple modes, such as telephone, newspapers and CBSE website.
This year 72 Principals, trained counselors from CBSE affiliated government and private schools and few psychologists will participate in tele-counseling and address exam related psychological problems of the students. 62 of them are available in India while 10 are located in Nepal, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Al Khobar, Sultnate of Oman), UAE (Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah) and Kuwait. Students can dial a toll free number 1800 11 8004 from any part of the country which will give centralized access to CBSE helpline.
Domain experts in CBSE have also collaborated with national papers such as The Hindu, Hindustan Times, Malayala Manorama and Amar Ujala. The weekly Question Answer Columns in the month of February will answer one to one queries of students and parents.
